  • To expand courses offered to include foreign languages, music, and technical subjects.

Consequent to the gloomy future of the P1 training the programme should be phased out gradually and replaced by higher programmes in elementary education.

1. Student facilities

  • The female hostels can accommodate about 400 people. They include a modern hostel accommodating over 200 people. The male hostels can accommodate about 350 people.
  • Outdoor sports facilities cater for a wide range of athletics and games like soccer, rugby, basket ball, volley ball, soft ball etc. we also have limited indoor sports facilities.

 

2. About Us

  • Kamagambo Adventist High School is about 20 km from Kisii town along the Kisii Migori main road. It is about 600 meters off the road in a quiet rural environment.
  • Its situation in a quiet rural environment makes the KHS campus an ideal learning environment for a Christian based education for the boys and girls.
  • We also offer additional support services such as counseling, chaplaincy and student welfare.
  • The graduates of the KCSE course if qualified join the universities the world over.
  •  The student life is based on the Adventist philosophy of education with emphasis on mental, physical, spiritual and social education. The meals served are vegetarian.
  • The alumnus comprises people from all over the world.

4. Core High School Discipline

The high school offers the 8-4-4 education system of the Kenyan government at the end of which those who qualify are able to join the University for Further Studies.

    • To separate from the TTC to eliminate the negative influence from the older folk in this section.
    • Put up more staff housing.

6. Strategy and policies of the high school and development plan

The high school has developed a 3 year strategic plan that will be reviewed in 2013. The main focus is to improve performance in KCSE and increase the enrolment to a self sustaining level.
